Description
Extremely rare. This is 1 of 500. This was the first record released by the Captain & Tennille and distributed to a number of radio stations by the duo throughout the US. The Butterscotch Castle name was chosen by the Captain & Tennille as the record label. These pre-date the "Joyce" release of the same title. The record is graded VG-. Playback has many audible scratches throughout. There is little distortion. Plays clear aside from the scratches. Label is clean with a black 'X' which seems to be common on the Butterscotch Castle 45.
All grading is done under a bright led light.
Grading scale:
M Record is perfect. M- Record has a superficial mark or two. Looks and plays like new. EX Record has superficial marks, light tracking marks. Record plays like new. VG+ More superficial marks/scratches. Light surface noise in dead wax and/or soft passages. Slight warp that doesn't affect play is possible. VG Multiple marks and scratches. A few scratches could be audible. Surface noise noticeable especially in soft passages but stays below the music. Warp that doesn't affect play is possible. VG- More deep scratches and wear. More surface noise where it could overpower the music at times. G Record will play through. Surface noise will overpower the music often.(sold in bulk unless rare) P Record won't play through. Good for decoration, crafts, frisbee, etc.(sold in bulk)
