Side A: Television Addict

Side B: Flipped Out Over You

 

The disc is in near mint condition, while the original, rubber stamped cover has some staining. These are two songs you can’t help sing along to. This is the pink & black stamped cover version (not the plain black stamped sleeve)

This is The Victims' first release. This three piece from Perth in Western Australia released a classic song, that continues to grow in popularity. The b-side, Flipped Out Over You, is just as strong and shows the pop sensibilities that were become more dominant when the band disbanded.

 

In the eighties, singer and guitarist Dave Faulkner went on to form the chart topping, rock, pop, sixties influenced Hoodoo Gurus, while drummer James Baker started the legendary, swamp, rock, grunge band, The Scientists.  This song was also covered by the Swedish band the Hellacopters.
