1977 Epic Records [Blue Label reissue]
THE VIBRATORS : One of the first English punk bands to release an LP, and it’s an absolute CLASSIC of the genre.
Some people have likened this album to a “Greatest Hits” ‘cos every song sounds like a potentail single.
Includes the chart hit punk love song “Baby Baby” and “Stiff Little Fingers” - the song that Belfast’s heroes took their name from.
In total 15 tracks of classic Punk Rock from the genre’s Year Zero.
I’ve owned this LP since new and although it’s been played a few times it still looks in almost perfect condition, a few barely noticeable marks on the vinyl and some faint spindle marks on the labels mark it down slightly from MINT.
The cover shows more signs of age than the LP - hence the further £5.00 reduction.
There’s a few marks (see pics) - nothing major - and I have reduced accordingly.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS COPY IS THE MORE SCARCE “BLUE LABEL” EDITION - WHICH FEATURES A REMIX/ REMASTER OF THE TRACKS FROM THE ORIGINAL RELEASE.
Many of the tracks have a subtly different mix, and the overall sound stage seems BIGGER crating a much fuller sound than the original ’77 LP.
