The Velvet Underground "VU-1" 45 Lou Reed Radio Spot The Velvet Underground 45 MGM VU-1, mono, 1969. Incredibly rare radio promo 45 for the 3rd Velvet Underground album. Side 1: VU-1 SIDE-1?Side 2: VU-1-SIDE-2 Yellow M-G-M label, "SPECIAL DISC JOCKEY RECORD", "NOT FOR SALE". Both sides offer a radio ad for the third Velvet Underground album, read by Bill 'Rosko' Mercer with excerpts of I'm Set Free, What Goes On and Beginning To See The Light. The record itself is in great shape with very light scuffing that does not affect play, reatining a good amount of shine!! I would grade it a strong VG+.
