(US POLYDOR, 25-3001, 1969)

MEGA RARE ORIGINAL US PRESSING of the first ever jazz fusion album! Tony Williams got together with John McLaughlin and Larry Young just before they recorded Bitches Brew with Miles and jazz fusion was born! This album is just too good! Naturally, it hardly sold at the time and finding original pressings is incredibly difficult! UK pressings are virtually extinct (I have only ever seen one in the flesh) and US pressings seem to be getting that way too now. The seperate US issues (Vols 1 & 2) are a lot more common than the double, as it should be - which is the very first pressing! It will be a while until you find another one of these, especially in such lovely shape! You will be not be disappointed! Don't miss out!

Both discs are in EX(+) condition : a few light marks on both sides which do not affect play, both look and sound great!

Gatefold sleeve is in VG(+) condition : would grade better but as you can see there is a fair share of ring wear on both sides - having said that the spine has no splits and looks great, the seams have some light wear but still look great, the top seam on the front half has a little split at the opening but this isn't too noticeable, and the inside doesn't look too bad at all!
