Description
This is a 45 by The Surf Riders. It's on the Nasco Records label, and is number 45-6008. The two tracks are I'm Out and Rocko Soco. I'm Out I would call rockabilly, and Rocco Soco is an instrumental. This record is NOT labeled as a promo, but it actually was a promo for radio station KOXR in Oxnard California. It has a KOXR ink stamp on both sides of the label, and one side has a date stamp of April 2, 1958. Probably 25 to 30 years ago I bought a couple of boxes of records that came from that station, and this one was in there.
I'm a jukebox collector with a lot of records, not an actual record collector, so I'm no expert on grading. This record and label look good. There's no big scratches, and there's no cracks or chips. The record plays all the way through on both sides and sounds pretty good. I'm just guessing VG or higher. Listen to both sides, and you can grade them accordingly yourself.
