A Big Thing Coming forces the sale of a genuine rarity rarely offered for sale .
This , and its brother ”Grip “ are the rarest worldwide 7”’s to collect if your a Stranglers Fan , I only know of 4 of these singles in Existence Worldwide and every Stranglers Collector Will know of this Colombian rarity from 1977 , which was only unearthed to the market in 2006 ! There are fewer of these than Blackmail Sleeves and Snow Countries !
It comes in an original Sonolux ( Colombian Company who promoted UA ) Stock plastic sleeve.
Condition is VG / VG , Nice sheen but it has visible markings that don’t interfere with play to be honest I’ve never seen a VG + / EX one. The Labels are unusually clean of writing , there is some aging on the B side label which I’ve photographed so you can see all the imperfections, but when did you last see one for sale ? and for a 42 year old Colombian it’s in good nick ! Toby Jug didn’t even have one of these ! And even JJ didn’t know of its existence when we chatted at a recent Dublin Gig !
