This is a really nice, clean copy of this original pressing. I will do my best to accurately describe its condition...
I would grade the cover at a very clean VG+++. This album cover is very difficult to find in this condition because it is a gatefold, so there are almost none that were left in the shrink. Also, it has a lot of dark colors that wear easily. It has virtually no ring wear, but there are a few small areas of wear, such as at the bottom right of the front cover (see detail photo). The seams have very little shelf wear, and the spine is in really nice condition, with only very thin white lines along the seams - which indicates that the gatefold was not opened very often. I see a small amount of wear on a couple of the corners (mostly bottom left cover at spine). There is also a small promo sticker on the front cover, but the label on the record is not a white promo label (however, it may indicate that it is an early pressing). There are no seam splits. The original inner sleeve also is in crisp condition, with no seam splits either. The detail photos I have uploaded show the above defects - but it looks a lot nicer in person (particularly the seams).
The record is a bit more difficult to assign a grade to. I think I would also grade the vinyl as VG+++. It is definitely not perfect, but it appears to have been played carefully. There are some light lines here and there, but it is hard to tell if some of them came that way from the factory - or were caused by rubbing on the inner sleeve. It's a clean looking record, but I understand that different collectors have different standards, so if you are not happy with it when you receive it please let me know.
I will pack with the record put in a white sleeve and shipped removed from the cover in an oversized box.
