Description
This is a copy of The Stone Roses Demo Album Volume 1 from 1990 by Hard Tymez Productions number 0144. I bought this record from a Record Fair in Manchester in late 1990 in used condition and have only played it once and it’s been stored in my collection ever since.
As you can see from the photos, the cover is in very good condition with no rips, tears or creasing with only light storage wear to the edges and some marks from what looks like the marker pen used to number the album.
The record itself doesn’t have any visible marks or scratches but when playing Side A it does jump at the start of Getting Plenty and twice at the start of Adored. There are some clicks at the end of Heart on the Stave and clicks during the quieter sections of This Is The One.
Side B is much better and only has light clicks during the intro to All I Want and during the start of Sally Cinnamon.
Using the Record Collector Grading system, I’d say that the cover is in ‘Very Good’ condition as “normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable”. The record is I would say in ‘Fair’ condition as ‘the record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump”. The previous owner didn’t look after this as well as I have for almost 33 years but I wanted to give a description of quality as well as providing the photos.

Postage will be £6.50 delivered in the UK. I will send the record packed and protected by a custom cardboard (not card!) cover and will then wrap the cover in plastic sheeting to protect it further during postage. I will also remove the record and inner from its cover to prevent any wear to the sleeve during postage and delivery.
