The Stone Roses 1989 FIRST PRESS Silvertone Records Black Text Rare VINYL VG+
Has promo cut / sent to radio in the USA
CONDITION. This was a radio station owned early copy in the USA. Cover looks good but has a lil spot where a sticker was. The back cover has the same spot where a sticker was. It is barely recognizable. All spines have a lil wear but no splits. The inner sleeve has some splits too. The vinyl is very good. Just listened to the whole record on both sides. No skips, a tiny bit of surface noise in the first 15 seconds of side 2 then perfection. Record labels have writing from the radio station. Album contains an inner sleeve with several band photos on one side and a single large band photo on the other side.
John Squire artwork is on the back of the outer sleeve.

The 1st U.S. vinyl release (1184-1-J) released in 1989 with "THE STONE ROSES" on front cover being black letters with red bordering. The 2nd U.S. vinyl release (1184-1-J-RE 1) released in 1990 had olive (gold like) lettering.
