The mighty Maiden at their best with Paul Di’Anno on vocals.
This is a totally original 7 inch single that I bought in 1980 from an address in London advertised in Sounds. (for those of you that remember that far back!). It is my own item and I am not a record dealer.
Maiden (who were unknown at the time) were on tour supporting Judas Priest and I bought the single at the time to check out what they were like. On the night, they blew Priest off stage at the Birmingham Odeon (Priest were also late starting as they appeared live on Top of the Pops that night)…and the rest is history.
The single is in excellent condition and the sleeve shows a few signs of wear, but this single was bought to be played and enjoyed rather than squirreled away.
A unique feature of this sale is the ORIGINAL information slip that came with the single, advertising the other Maiden merchandise on sale at the time – a T Shirt and a badge (how times have changed!), and where you could send off to get it – SEE PIC.
This is an exceptional opportunity for any true Maiden fan to get their hands on one of only a few original pressings of ROK1 by Rock Hard records - The Soundhouse Tapes.

I can now confirm with certainty after information from a true Maiden fan that this is indeed one of the ORIGINAL 5000 pressings. It has the lyn numbers (very feint) between the label and the grooves. To check this out visit www.maidenfans.com
