Description
Very rare and very good debut album from the late Adrian Borland's band, The Sound-"Jeopardy". This is an original UK first pressing on Korova Records,KODE 2 with A1/B1 matrix numbers,textured sleeve and inner sleeve. This band were part of the late 70's/early 80's Liverpool neo psych scene, that included The Teardrop Explodes and Echo and the Bunnymen.They received as much critical acclaim as those two bands, but not the same commercial success, although their records are undoubtedly as good as those of their peers. This album and their second, "From The Lion's Mouth"(see other listing), are probably their best, and well worth investigation. Sleeve has slight wear and discolouration, whilst the record has a few audible hairline marks; VG++ overall. All the records I sell have been professionally cleaned and tested, using a Keith Monks record cleaning machine, and a Linn Axis turntable.
