Description

The Soft Machine - Self Titled 1968 Probe Stereo US Press - Jazz Rock
First issue thick card sleeve with a circular die-cut in sleeve, revealing rotating 'clockwork' card insert through which the band members be viewed on a full-color backing sheet. Uncensored images of a nude girl on the inside and back of the gatefold and under the clock insert. 

Sleeve is graded as G+ with clearly visible storage, edge and corner wear. There is also a tear at the bottom edge (six o'clock) of the round window through which the 'clockwork' insert and backing sheet are visible (see photo). There is also some rub wear at two o' clock (see photo)  Spine is readable. Original inner sleeve shows minimal signs of age. Full colour backing sheet is NM. Vinyl is graded as NM and has only been played once or twice at the very most. It plays perfectly with minimal pops or clicks between tracks and is likely to be rare in this condition.
