Description
The experience of buying records on Ebay is ruined if, when they arrive, you discover that they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging. They are also from a non-smoking and pet-free home. Note that my postage offer still stands. If you win more than one auction within a week, you pay only the postage on one of the items (see below). This can make a particularly big difference if you are an overseas bidder.
The Smiths - 'Panic' White Label Promo 12" - 1986

Although generally termed a 'white label' pressing, the labels on this promo 12" are actually a plain light 'beige' colour. These early pressings were sent out to radio stations and so on to promote the upcoming release of the 'Panic' single, and this one is particularly desirable in that it comes with the 12" x 24" official Rough Trade poster, which bears the song lyrics, as well as the full sheet of 9 promotional stickers that came with early copies of the 12". Everything here is in outstanding condition (see below) and would grace any Smiths collection.The vinyl and labels are in near mint condition, appearing to have been played only a few times and having no discernable surface marks to detract from the glossy appearance of the vinyl. The poster comes folded as-issued so that it would fit inside the record sleeve and is also in near mint condition with no marks or other damage. Similarly the promotional sticker sheet is in near mint condition with no signs of damage. The outer and inner blue sleeves are identical to the standard release and are also near mint in condition; all in all a superb example of these very rare items and the chances of finding another set for sale in such condition are slim. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the yellow 'Ebay ID' lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.
