Description
The experience of buying records on Ebay is ruined if, when they arrive, you discover that they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging in a 'box' mailer with the record outside the sleeve to avoid seam-splitting. They are also from a non-smoking and pet-free home.

This terrific German pressing from 1985 has the striking, and very collectable, bright yellow 'Viv Nicholson At The Pithead' artwork. The track was released as a 7" single only in Germany and Italy, with each having the artwork seen here. On the reverse of the sleeve there is the enigmatic footnote "All god's children Got Wings". This artwork is particularly difficult to find on an original Smiths 1980s release and looks superb. Happily, there is no white catalogue sticker in the lower right corner of the sleeve front which is often present in examples of this pressing to spoil its appearance. This is a very nice collectable original pressing from 1985 which increasingly rarely appears on the market these days.The vinyl and labels are in near mint condition, being possibly unplayed and very well looked-after; the vinyl is glossy with only the lightest of superficial 'hairline' surface marks in a few places, which can only be seen if held to the light. The record is in the as-issued large centre hole 'jukebox' format. The outer sleeve is in excellent condition, with only extremely light 'rubbing' to the corners in a few places. There is no seam-splitting or sign of creasing, which is rare for a thin-paper delicate outer sleeve of this type. The sleeve would be graded much more highly, but for a small 'rupture' in the centre of the front and back of the sleeve which is nonetheless not overly prominent, avoiding spoiling the overall appearance of the sleeve, and can just be seen in the photos. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the 'Ebay ID' lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.
