THE SMITHS LOUDER THAN BOMBS 2 LP SET ON ROUGH TRADE / SIRE RECORDS 1987
RARE ORIGINAL PRESSING IN NEAR MINT CONDITION
Back in 1987 LOUDER THAN BOMBS was originally intended to be released in the US only and a small first pressing ( a US joint release RoughTrade/Sire) was issued. All copies sold out immediately, and due to popular demand ROUGH TRADE a UK pressing the following year (with the black Rough Trade Label). SIRE released a 2nd US pressing ( with a yellow Sire Label and Rough Trade Omitted). While all 3 releases are quite RARE as Louder Than Bombs has been long Out of Print on Vinyl for now well over a decade, this copy is the rarest of the bunch as it is one of the original first pressing with both the Rough Trade and Sire listed on the Vinyl Label (see photo # 2). Deluxe gatefold cover (photo #3) contains complete lyrics and is also Excellent + condition. Both records are in their original brown sleeves and are in near mint condition. Louder than Bombs, the original first pressing is a RARE collectible that will only continue to increase in value.
In addition to Louder Than Bombs, you'll also receive the RARE German 12" Single of The Smiths "Panic" on Teldec / Zensor Records. This is pressed on Blue Vinyl. Overall condition of this added bonus is VG/EX. As you can see in photo #4, a price tag is on the front cover.
