The Smiths - 'Half A Person' 3 LP Set - 1988

This interesting and quirky 1988 Portuguese release is a triple vinyl collection of three Smiths albums: 'The Smiths (Debut)', 'Meat Is Murder' and 'The World Won't Listen'. All three LPs are housed in an outer sleeve with unique artwork (see photo) and is not commonly seen offered for sale in a collectable state. The problem is that the outer sleeve is generally too delicate to hold three LPs, and many examples for sale have outer sleeves which have consequently split or are badly damaged. In this case the records and sleeve have all been remarkably well-preserved (see below) which is a rarity indeed. Record Collector placed the set at Number 99 in The Smiths Top 100 collectables in 2005.

The vinyl and labels are all in near mint condition, being almost certainly unplayed on each case, having only the occasional extremely light 'hairline' surface mark on the glossy vinyl. The outer sleeve, remarkably, is in strong excellent condition, with no splits or damage anywhere. There is similarly no writing, tears or creasing to the unusual outer sleeve; the only signs of wear being some mild corner wear in a few places. Please see the accompanying photos for more detail; note that the yellow 'Ebay ID' lettering is just on the pictures and not on the item itself.

I offer a money-back guarantee if anything is described incorrectly. Postage and Packing is 2.80 in the UK for untracked and uninsured standard postage, this is subsidised by myself and the actual costs to me will usually be higher. Please do consider paying the extra 70p for tracked postage since there is nothing that can be done to find out what happened if the parcel is lost when standard postage is chosen. Shipping costs are greater for overseas buyers, but still subsidised and very good value; please check prices by using the options above or feel free to ask. Extra items are sent at no extra postage charge to the buyer (see below). I always take great care to package items well with strong mailing materials.
