Description

This classic UK 12" single by The Sisters Of Mercy from 1984 contains four signatures - Andrew Eldritch, Wayne Hussey, Craig Adams and Gary Marx - on the front of the Picture Sleeve in gold ink. These musicians were the members of the band at that time.

I'm afraid I don't know the provenance behind the signing, but I purchased this item in good faith and the signatures of Andrew Eldritch and Wayne Hussey appear consistent with other examples shown on the internet (I haven't been able to find examples of those by Craig Adams and Gary Marx to compare). Pictures two to five of this listing show close-ups of each signature. This is a lovely item, but please don't bid if you have any doubts as to the authenticity of the signatures.

The outer sleeve is in Excellent condition, with just some minor wear which doesn't affect the signatures. The inner sleeve and the disc are both Excellent+. This record was released on WEA / Merciful Release with a catalogue number of MRO33T and it features the tracks Walk Away / Poison Door / On The Wire.

I don't expect there are many records that were signed by all four members of the group from their 'First and Last and Always' era. Thanks for looking at this listing and happy bidding!
