Original 45 on the COLUMBIA RECORDS lable cat# DB 7441 vintage 1965 release
A rare record from one of the most highly-sought bands of the era!
'Crawdaddy Simone' of course is a well documented single that sells for anything up to £1200 pounds sterling - it has been on the wants lists of every collector of the genre. This one is no less rare in reality, and it's a good garage version of a Howlin' Wolf classic, with a self-penned track on the flip.
I believe that is also the very first composition from Steve Howe, later of YES fame - and a genius on most (portable) stringed instruments!
It was a total flop and got no exposure on the airwaves.
Their contemporaries were The Downliners Sect, Animals, Yardbirds and T-Bones at the time, who all fared better for sales respectively.
