Original very early 1st Stereo pressing factory sealed copy of the Rolling Stones 8th US studio album “Their Satanic Majesties Request” released on December 8th, 1967. 1st print gatefold cover with the 1st cover variation containing a psychedelic 3D lenticular panel with the artwork by Michael Cooper which shows the four “hidden” Beatles among the Rolling Stones (The images of the Beatles are clearly visible on the regular covers that don’t have the 3D panel). This album is considered to be The Rolling Stones’ response to the Beatles’ “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”. The top of the front cover contains an incredibly rare band name “The Rolling Stones” hype sticker. The design of the cover didn’t imply any mentioning of the band name and therefore, the very early 1st pressing copies were equipped with this sticker which is affixed to the cover itself underneath the shrink wrap. It’s guaranteed that inside you’ll find the 1st print blue London Records Stereo labels with the “Stereophonic” banner below the “London” boxed logo, silver print text and “NPS-2” Stereo catalog number. 1st print gatefold cover is still factory sealed with the fully intact shrink wrap containing the breathe holes, one on each side of the album. This 1st issue contains inside an original custom red / white psychedelic inner sleeve which is slightly seen through the intact shrink wrap at the cover’s mouth. Beautiful 1st pressing factory sealed final upgrade copy in Mint condition.
