One Time Massive Price Drop before I put it back in the Closet....... Welcome to this Auction of this German 4LP Compilation Box set called 'The Rest Of The Best' by THE ROLLING STONES. I am the original owner of the Box and it's in as close to new condition as you can probably find. This is the 'Bonus' issue that got to the distribution chain and then it was Pulled/Recalled because the Stones Management found out that it contained 'Cocksucker Blues' as a 'Bonus 45. 
There is no concrete information on actually how many got out with the CS 45 (the best collectors information says that none got out for retail sale because they never got past being shipped to the distributors) but because there are so few out on the collectors circuit that have traded hands it could be less than 100 worldwide.  I can only say that I've only seen one other box that both had the 'Hype' Yellow sticker on the box AND the 45, and I'm a pretty avid Stones Collector, So this could realistically be the Worlds Rarest Legitimate Rolling Stones Single in existence. And the photo shows the Pressing Plant Matrix for the single, it is NOT a counterfeit or a second pressing, it IS the German Decca Original. 
The single is pressed on Quiex Virgin Vinyl, as you can see by the photo you can see through it! Pretty neat. And I know there is some light sleeve dust on it,  it will be cleaned upon sale. There is also a mark on the outer edge of the single that is NOT a sharp scratch and does NOT affect play. The LP's are also in Like New condition and so are the inners which show almost no sign of bending, ring wear or ruffleness. The boxes upper right corner is a tad bit crushed but it came this way from my distributor when I originally got it. No seam splits on the inners also. Box has no splits and is in Like New Condition.   These come up for sale fairly frequently, but finding one of the 'Bonus' editions is indeed extremely rare, and finding one in Near New Condition and With the Sticker is even rarer.
