This Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers Album A4/B3 is a First Pressing UK Vinyl Record COC 59100-A Released on 23rd April 1971, all first pressings of this album have T.M.L. ROLLING STONES RECORDS hand-etched in the runout grooves (The Mastering Lab) along with Matrix nomenclature COC A4 and B3 pressed in the runout grooves. Later pressings were not pressed at The Mastering Lab and suffer from a far less dynamic sound. The sleeve has the the correct Andy Warhol sleeve photograph to protect the vinyl from the zip and the original track listing poster. The zipper is small and square as it should be. The following iteration of the sleeve had the round PAN zipper. This is a very rare album bought by myself at the Virgin Records store in Brighton, England in 1971.

Vinyl Grading 

I grade vinyl by playing the record and listening using Bose Noise Cancelling headphones at medium volume.  

MINT (M), Pristine, Looks as if it just came off the manufacturing line.?

NEAR MINT (NM), Looks as if it just came from a store and was opened for the first time, maybe played a few times if ever, no evidence of play or wear whatsoever?

EXCELLENT (EX), LP may have a faint surface mark or two barring it from being Near Mint, but sound quality should not be affected at all.  Cover sleeve is just short of Near Mint, often used for cover sleeves in Shrink, or with no ring wear or staining or easily visible flaws whatsoever, seams and spine fully intact 

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+), Shows slight signs of wear, light scuffs or scratches may be present but they do not affect playback other than faint surface noise heard sporadically in between tracks, or the occasional soft click from a surface mark here or there.  Cover sleeve is considered still “frameable” yet when observed closely will show to have a flaw or small flaws, very minor ring wear if any, seams and spine intact but not pristine

VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD PLUS (VG/VG+), more obvious signs of wear and handling, LP has surface noise that is noticeable in some spots but perhaps is quiet and clean in other spots, clicks and pops will be heard, but will not significantly disrupt the music, cover sleeves have more obvious ring wear or marks/staining, seams may have cracking, minor seam splitting or some missing spine text but are still fairly well intact. Writing may be present on label.

VERY GOOD (VG), significant and obvious wear and handling including surface noise throughout, audible scratches which cause clicks and pops and crackle but no skips or repeated grooves, cover sleeve may have significant ring wear and/or staining, seam splits may be evident, label or sleeve may have writing, names, stickers etc.
