1st US issue of The Rolling Stones Sticky Finger in a factory sealed condition. Very early pressing with an original song title hype sticker. The logo in the form of "Tongue and Lips", also known as "Hot Lips", created by John Pasche 1st appeared on the cover of Sticky Fingers. Original cardboard gimmick cover designed by Andy Warhol contains a real working metal zipper that can be unzipped to reveal an image beneath it. 1st print cover containing the "DISTRIBUTED BY ATCO RECORDS. DIVISION OF ATLANTIC RECORDING CORPORATION. ©1971 MUSIDOR N.Y. PRINTED IN U.S.A. BY SOUND PACKAGING CORP." credits in the lower right-hand corner of the back cover which are absent on the reprint covers. Inside you'll find a custom inner sleeve with a photo of The Rolling Stones on one side and "tongue and lips" logo along with the credits on the other. The factory sealed album remains in a beautiful Mint condition. The shrink wrap containing breathe holes doesn't have any tears or splits and only has some light shelf wear. Considering that the zipper's bridge sticks out and these covers were stacked on the top of each other at the factory, all of them, including this copy, contain light indentation marks from the zipper of another cover on the back. The front panel of the gimmick cover has a slight barely noticeable bumping at the bottom right corner.
