Description

An original 1st press of SG on the Rolling Stone label. Matrix 4U/3U. The vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue uncensored cover. The story goes that when some of the celebrities, or their estates, got wind of this cover they demanded a redaction of some well known faces. The most notable probably being MM's estate - her image is clearly visible, here, but you won't see it on later copies. Also included is the original inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In beautiful condition and has only seen slightest use. I can make out a couple of superficial marks both sides - nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are really nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. You can really hear that you're close to those original masters. A very detailed and raw rendition - precisely what you're looking for on this title. A really clean player throughout - most copies do not deliver this consistent level of clean playback. Nigh on perfect....<<<
Cover (Ex) In really nice condition indeed and it looking very tidy indeed. The die-cuts are all in perfect condition with minimal wear. Front and rear are in excellent condition with slightest handling signs. Edge wear is very minor and the openings still sharp. Four pointy corners. The spine is 99% intact with faintest wear at foot. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A super preserved original copy.
Inner (Ex/Ex+) Close on perfect. No ageing. No splits or wear!
