Description

Artist: The Rolling Stones

Title: Let It Bleed

Label: Decca (Unboxed) Cat: SKL.5025

Year: 1969 First Press

Vinyl Condition: G+

Sleeve Condition: VG

Notes: I'm not sure how to grade this so I will describe it as accurately as possible and let you decide. Most of the record plays VG+. There are a few cosmetic scratches but for the most part it plays great all the way through with a little surface noise in the quiet bits. There is a big "BUT" though - You will be able to see in the pics that the intro (on both sides has been badly damaged (it could be a fag burn) and the damage just creeps into the first tracks. If you drop the arm a few bars into the first track, its fine from there. So - its either a collection filler or a decent play album if you're prepared to put up with losing a few seconds. It is priced as a collection filler.

The sleeve is in very good order (maybe VG+) with a little wear at the corners and no other wear but it has a "tea" stain in the bottom corner that can be seen in the photos. It has the indicator "peep hole" on the back. It comes with a Decca company stereo inner sleeve so the indicator works but its not the original inner (which also had the credits). There is no poster. Matrix:

P-5W, P-6W

All albums have been play tested on my Pro-ject Debut III with standard Ortofon cartridge. I don't often sell albums that are graded below VG - usually only when they are quite rare examples. With albums of G+ or less grading which are typically very well played and scratched, I have found it impossible to assess whether a scratch results in a click or a jump as it depends what set up you have. I will still make every effort to point out where feelable scratches are present.

I will happily combine postage costs - if buying more than one album please wait for an invoice before paying. Please see my other listings.
