Description

The Rolling Stones-Heart Of Stone/What A Shame (London Records 1964).  Rare early US copy of this Stones classic with the ultra-rare picture sleeve on the London label.  Not sure exactly which pressing this is, but I believe that it is early.  The deadwax for Heart Of Stone:  DR-34777-1H followed closely by A1 with R following some distance away.  The deadwax for What A Shame:  DR-34773-1H followed closely by A1 with R following some distance away.  The A1 and R look stamped while the rest of the letters and numbers are etched.  Pressed on styrene with purple and white labels.  The record is visually graded as a solid VG+ with a few light non-feelable scratches, a few scuffs, and a storage lift that tracks fine.  The labels have a small sticker, a small bit of handwriting, and some light wear.  The picture sleeve displays sharp and vivid with bends, wrinkles, creases, ring impression, corner bends, a few tiny tears, some light age browning, some edge wear, a small bit of handwriting, and overall wear.  The upper left corner seam is unglued about a quarter of an inch.  The rest of the seams are intact with some wear.  A new generic sleeve will be included to house the record separately.  We use USPS media mail for domestic shipping.  We combine shipping.  Please Note:  international shipping is not available for this auction.
