Released in April 1976 on Rolling Stones Records under catalog number COC 79104, Black and Blue is a groove-heavy studio masterpiece from British rock icons The Rolling Stones. Serving as the formal introduction of guitarist Ronnie Wood to the lineup, this transition-era album features the band incorporating infectious elements of funk, reggae, and jazz into their signature hard rock foundation. The stellar tracklist is driven by fan favorites and international hits such as Fool to Cry, Hot Stuff, Hand of Fate, and Memory Motel. This original vintage pressing has been exceptionally well preserved over the decades. The iconic close-up portrait gatefold cardboard sleeve features intense color depth and razor-sharp edges. Both the outer jacket and the heavy black vinyl disc look pristine and practically unplayed with a mirror-like original gloss, bringing the entire package to an immaculate, collector-grade Near Mint standard.
