Description

An original 1st mono press of BTBs on the UK Decca label. Matrix 3A/2A. Stampers 1-HI/1-HI. Please note the labels still exhibit the label still exhibits the Decca deep-groove which is indicative of 1st issue. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original James Upton printed mono cover. Also included is the original Decca inner sleeve from the time so 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity. This Stones title is chock full of low-key tracks and you really need a clean copy to do it any sort of justice. By and large a very nice clean player with very little to find fault with. Interference is very minor and infrequent. All I could detect were a few crackles in a couple of isolated spots [e.g. She Smiles Sweetly]. But, overall, I think you'd be hard pushed to find a better playing original copy than this example.
Cover (Vg+) A stunning looking front which is nice and flat with only a couple of thumbnail creases evident. The rear is exhibiting a bit of ageing in places, but better than most examples as this title seems to be particularly susceptible to ageing. Edge wear is reasonably light and the spine is pretty much entirely intact. Overall the over still retains excellent rigidity - which is no mean feat on this title.
Inner (Vg) A good bit of ageing. But no splits or markings.
