This fine UK 1st STEREO pressing dates from initial December 1968 release on the unboxed blue & silver Decca label: SKL 4955

Matrix numbers: XZAL-8476-2K & XZAL-8477-1K

An exceptionally clean & unworn set with only a handful of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Immaculate deep-gloss playing surfaces which are pristine & unmarked in strong daylight. Even close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals only some harmless faint inner-sleeve storage marks & a sparkling rainbow shine.

Sound Quality: MINT

This wonderful sounding copy has received just a few careful plays on top-quality equipment and consequently all tracks play cleanly & clearly without any trace of background interference or groove/playwear distortion in either channel. My playcheck detected no clicks, pops or indeed any other audible distractions. You will not find a better sounding original copy of this incredible album.

Cover: EXCELLENT +

A superior example with very little wear and no significant or major faults throughout.

The outer panels retains a completely unscratched and unworn high-gloss laminate, free from any 'thumbnail' wrinkles or heavy spine bends. All corners are in great shape and free from any bumps or bruising. Both opening edges are also unworn.

Both panels of the inside of the gatefold and perfectly clean & unblemished.

All seams are smooth & unstressed & the spine is fully laminated with no splits and all of the text is clear & readable
