THE ROLLING STONES - 'AFTERMATH + OUT OF TIME'
This special limited edition album was produced by Decca Germany in 1966 for the German Record Club - 'Deutschen Schallpatten Club'

This STEREO edition, with a different tracklisting to the UK version, is on the burgundy & gold Decca label: SBD 1125-C (H 220)

Matrix numbers: K LPD-Ste-012468-X & K ZAL-7210-X

Vinyl weight: 161g

The disc is housed within a fully laminated German printed cover featuring a great shot of the group performing in a TV studio

Bright & clean with some faint spindle trails but no damage or wear to any of the delicate gold print.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Extremely clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which apart from a single 3.5cm surface line on side 2 are unmarked in strong daylight. Even close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a sparkling rainbow shine. Side 2 is slightly uneven on the turntable when playing but this does not affect sound or play in any way.

Sound Quality: EXCELLENT

This copy has received minimal careful play on good equipment and there is no significant deterioration to the sound quality or any major faults throughout. My playcheck detected some minor background on the opening track of side 1 but no groove/playwear elsewhere. There is an occasional light tick between some tracks but nothing during the music.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A highly respectable example of this attractive cover which retains an unworn/unscratched high-gloss finish all-round. There is slight bruising to the right corners and slight wear to the opening edges, but no tears or splits anywhere. The rear panel is clean and unblemished with just minor even age-toning.

Both seams are smooth & unstressed & the spine is unworn & fully worded.
