"The Rhythm-Kings with the Bob Whyte Trio" on Ivory Records 78 Record (1949). Songs are Side-A "Night After Night" and Side-B "I Shouldn't Have Passed Your House." Side-A has only a light scratch. 
"The Rhythm-Kings" were also known at other times as "Rhythm Masters" and the "4 Pals." 
Members included: Leonard Thomas (first tenor and usual lead; born in Florida on July 27, 1910), Cecil A. Murray (second tenor and manager; born in Florida on April 1, 1907), Howard "Hash" Scott (baritone; born on November 4, 1904 in New Jersey), and James Riley (bass). Although the group was together for many years, they never had what would be considered a "hit" record.    Ivory Records was owned by Dagmar Van Haur, who had been a secretary at Ross Russell's Dial Records. One article (at the time of Ivory's inception) called her a "former sales manager" for Dial. The label that was in existence for two years, from 1949 to 1951,a short lived independent label at at the mid-point of the Twentieth Century which had a few interesting artists and records without much in the way of sales.  
In recent years, a few music critics have written about the place this band had in the Rhythm & Blues pre-Rock & Roll era. What has been said about this group is that they were resilient. 

In his blog "Spontaneous Lunacy: the History of Rock 'N' Roll - Song by Song", Sampson writes: 
"Considering their late start in the game as recording artists, plus their advanced age for rock ‘n’ roll and presumably their lack of any pre-existing affinity for the style, or certainly their lack of experience in prior years to tackling anything of this nature, the group wound up being remarkably resilient as the rock vocal group field grew ever more competitive in time. Though nothing they did found any real success and much of it just barely qualified as rock to begin with, they were good singers who at least proved adept at conforming to some of the qualities to get them in the door in the first place. Once there they managed to remain far longer than anyone would’ve expected."
Condition, I think, would be considered VG+ due to a couple of light scratches on both sides as well as a few light scuffs.
