Ok up next —    To continued with the oldschool punk goodness , we have a 1st Print vinyl record on the original TwinTone Label:   The Replacements with “LET IT BE.”    This vinyl record  is heavily sought out for among the Punk/New Wave/Hardcore/Indie-Rock, vinyl fan crowd and of course collectors. This album is the band’s 1984 debut featuring the single “Androgynous” - This is not a later 80’s/90’s reprint, nor is it the recent reprintings or any remastered printings.




   This record sounds Excellent. This band is one of my personal fav’s and this album is on the top of their list. The album played flawlessly on the pre-sell test play that I conducted today— it was singin’. If I haf to make a note- then I would say, the only flaws I noticed were two-three times that I heard light static in the background between tracks. But for me that is common vinyl occurance, and expected.        The phyiscal condition of the vinyl record is VG+. It does not show well (if all) in the lighted pictures much or any flaws. If looken closely under a bright light and in person, there are definitely signs/marks of play and storage and a few faint scratches that are not serious enough to damper the actual play performance. It is surely still in very good condition, and looks way better than it should for a record that is just shy of 35 years old and was played a fair share of times. But they do say, well cared, properly treated vinyl will last you a lifetime. Sure seems it!. Plenty shiny to blind you and extremely glossy and reflective that it was hard to completely get rid of reflection during flash picturing.         The vinyl jacket is all in one piece and has no rips, tears, or holes. It is tight, and strong bound. It actually has very little signs of aging. I see no discoloration or ring/storage wear and the colors are as vibrant as ever. There are minor corner dings and a very small pair of creases that are not noticeable unless upon close inspection. The only flaw that sticks out to me is on the upper back side where there is small-ish line or fold type mark that is noticeable to my eye.      All in all this is very nice copy. Plays and sounds flawless and the jacket is still looking sharp and strong. I wouldn’t hold my breath on many people having a EX/NM original of this album— and the very few who do,more than likely are asking upwards of $175.

    If this vinyl has been on your mind but you are not ridiculous enough to pay 200 bucks for a punk rock record— THIS IS FOR YOU- Don’t miss it !!!   Hopefully this will be sitting in the hands of a fan by the end of this listing.       The vinyl, for it’s protection, comes ship-stored in a poly-lined protective, thick-paper, inner-sleeve. The jacket has been stored in a thick outter protective sleeve and will be sent in also. Also included will be original generic 1984 paper-sleeve.
With the newer repressings being recently released and gaining popularity, so has the listings price for this album which lately/currently has been between $ 90-$145 Dollars.
