This in fact is the Athens of the North reissue of the incredibly hard to find Wanda McDaniel and the Ultimate Choice single of the same title

As it goes even this reissue itself is not that easy to find as it was never pressed in great numbers and sold out so fast. Such was it’s demand many retailers were only selling on a “one per customer” basis

I have listed this as new but it has been played - just the once (I played it to a friend as he hadn’t heard it previously and took a sound file at the same time) - so I can’t (and haven’t) legitimately list it as “Mint”.
