The Rascher Saxophone Quartet, "The Rascher Saxophone Quartet" (Coronet LPS #3021). WAY RARE, STILL SEALED, mint private label release by the esteemed, Rascher Saxophone Quartet, led by the legendary Sigurd Rascher, who's had works written for him by such celebrated composers as Hindemith, Ibert, and Glazounov. This LP features a Bach prelude and fugue, plus 20th Century pieces by Erland Von Koch, Fritz Gerhard, Everett Gates, Walter S. Hartley, and Zdenek Lukas. I'm only aware of one other release on Coronet, and it was also a Rascher Saxophone effort, though that time by The Rascher Saxophone Ensemble. The COOL cover is STILL SEALED and Mint. The vinyl is also Mint -- I only give a Mint grade to sealed items. Strict grading.
