Description
THE RAMRODS - The Ramrods EP LONDON REU 1292 with Company sleeve A very rare EP is this. The only one previously seen (in the last 30 years) was the one I bought for myself!
You can check the picture with a microscope and you will find that:
YES - the cover is damaged by a two-inch split from the opening edge which has been sellotaped; YES - the rear cover has a little browning from somebody's mucky hands over the years since 1961; YES - the vinyl has the occasional hairline mark BUT: YOU DON'T PLAY THE COVER the last time I checked; YOU WILL NOT FIND: that the vinyl sounds dreadful, that the vinyl SKIPS, JUMPS, WOBBLES or even PLAYS PINKY and PERKY do BOB DYLAN tunes backwards (BECAUSE IT DOESN'T!) nor does it do anything else buyers can think of (I've heard all the excuses over the years, believe me, including a rare Motown tune that miraculously cured all it's ailments overnight between Norwich and Kings Lynn, and put its selling price up significantly in doing so!)
The Ramrods EP has been seen as high as £110.00 in past Record Pricing Guides, but although this has reduced to £70.00 MINT in recent issues. I personally think that the guides have got it wrong - it's no easier to find and it deserved to stay in the £100.00+ bracket. Therefore my price is based on what it should be, and what it will be again when the guides wake up and this price will be £32.00. That is an absolute bargain! AND FINALLY - as they say on News at Ten: if you're STILL not convinced, I'll take it back and eat it, before refunding you in full, including your return postage. Just leave either good or no feedback to qualify for this.
You cannot say you didn't know the whole truth and nothing but.

IMPORTANT POSTAGE NOTICE - I am partially disabled and unable to walk far without assistance. That restricts my trips to the Post Office and so I only post when I have a friend available to assist - so reckon on every 7 to 10 days. If you are in a rush to receive the item, I will do my best but offer no guarantees. Despite what EBAY says, the carrier (i.e. the Post Office or courier firm) is responsible for the loss in transit of correctly paid for and addressed mail items and NOT the seller. That is UK law. Therefore, I will assist wherever possible of course, in a variety of ways, but ultimate traceability rests with the carrier and their in-place systems for doing so. I cannot refund lost items and buying an item from me means you accept that.
WHO AM I?
HonestDave'sRecords has been successfully selling 1950's and 1960's singles and LP's at record fairs for nearly 40 years and on Ebay for 7 years. In fact I handle anything between 1955 and 1972, from any number of fields including: Pop, Beat, Soul, Northern Soul, Tamla Motown, Reggae, Instrumentals, Solo Girls and Boys and Girl Groups. If you want a fright, my photo and stall set out at a major London fair is on the mE button adjacent to my user name above. At the moment I am undertaking a major stock check so, although I have tried, I cannot send out lists. I underestimated the time it would (will) take to complete the job. If you have a specific requirement, you will find in this section, the means to get hold of me. If I have it, I will load it for you. At any one time I will have between five and eight thousand (5,000-8,000) singles and EP's and about a hundred (100) of so of the best LP's (too heavy for any more - my car objects to what it has to carry now!). Prices range from clearance items at £1.50 - £1.95, through huge numbers in the range £2.25 - £9.95, and hundreds of even rarer items in the pop, instrumental, beat, girl groups and soloists, straight soul and northern soul from £11.95 to £500.00 slices of Oriole. Most will be UK issues although a few will be American and will say so; most will have the original or an exact replica of the company sleeve it was issued in. Spares of these are available (most types) at 40p each post free. Almost all will have the original centre intact - a very few desirable ones may be sold with the centre punched out.
My lowest sales category is Very Good although only a few will actually be found listed as low as that. I try to ensure that all items should be in Very Good Plus, Excellent or Near Mint condition as defined by Record Collector Price Guides. I never use the condition Mint as it cannot be proved to my satisfaction. However, there is always the odd one that slips through the net when you deal in the numbers I do, and don't forget that even in 1965, duff copies came off the production line and these could still be out there.
If you should find any of my records are not as described, don't rush to leave negative feedback or poor marks on my seller ratings - I hate this system and it achieves nothing, despite what Ebay may think. It causes only bad feeling and solves nothing! Honest Dave offers a 100% money back, including all postage costs guarantee to any unsatisfied buyer. I will NOT require the item back - if it isn't any good to you, then it certainly isn't for me so throw it in the bin.
