THE REIGN

‘Zippered Up Heart'

BRAND NEW - Vinyl Record Music Single 7"!

The Lost Recordings of Johnny Thunders (2000 Pressing)!

Insanity on Record!

You are bidding on a brand new copy of the very rare ‘Zippered Up Heart’ 7" from the Legendary NY rocker - Johnny Thunders and the Reign!  Super limited pressing on Black Wax (2000 pressing)!! This record is very great and needed!! This single is wilder than you can ever imagine!  They will wipe your ass with sandpaper.

This is the very first recording by Johnny Thunders. It was recorded in 1967 with his first band 'The Reign' and was lost until 2000. The Reign was just a bunch of kids from Johnny's neighborhood sweating out this raw music. Side B of this record is an unknown band performing 'I've Had Enough'. You really can't hear any of Johnny's trademark guitar sound on this tune as he must have just learned how to play. The cover photographs of a very young JT are great. I found it interesting to hear the first time but I won't play it much more.

Tracks are:

  1. Zippered Up Heart
  2. I've Had Enough

For cover, see picture above
