Description
The collectors of British Beat and, in particular, the genre known as 'freakbeat' will be very familiar with these two tracks from 'The Primitives'. The fact that Mister Jimmy Page later of Led Zeppelin fame and, to me, the greatest British session guitarist, features loud and proud only adds to the value of this incredibly sought after slice of UK rock history.
This 'advance promotion' copy shows with a date stamp on the label, the release date of the 6th November 1964 and, being issued before the actual release, makes this even better than a 'first edition'. The 6th November 1964. What has happened to the members of this group and British rock music since that date is history; take this possibly unique chance to own a piece of it!
The most critical examination of the playing surfaces would indicate that this example is 'unplayed' and the labels are as clean as you will ever see.
