Description
Hi, presented here is the very rare 1st UK Issue LP of The Pretty Things "Emotions", released on Fontana, catalogue number TL 5425, Mono, 1967. So, here's the condition:-
The Sleeve:- EX+ condition, looks amazing. Front sleeve has a superb shine, no marks visible. Slight feathering visible to opening edge, but little. All 3 edges true and shiny, very minimal wear. Title spine fully legible and clean. Opening edge has mild feathering. Rear tri-flipback sleeve looks great, all 3 flips true and present and virtually undamaged. Rear sleeve has a couple of small oxidization marks, but only small. My apologies for the camera flashback on the word "emotions" at the rear top left sleeve, there is NO blurring on this word in reality. I tried a few times, but this was the lowest I could get the flashback at. The same applies to the "light lines" that run down the picture on either side of the front sleeve - these are NOT at all present on the sleeve in reality. The colour is consistently vibrant right the way across the sleeve. No writing or tears on the sleeve.
The Labels:- EX condition, very clean, with no marks or writing. No spindle wear visible.
The LP Itself:- EX+ condition, plays through very well on my system on both sides. This can vary from player player. There are a few light surface marks, but only light, and not audible on my system. Plays with very minimal surface noise throughout.
Overall, this is a superb example of a very rare and sought after LP. Very difficult to imagine a nicer one. My records are posted in professional mailers, with the LP (still in the inner) placed outside the cover to stop damage. I then put additional packing either side of the LP.
