The Police Regatta De Blanc RARE A&M U.S. Test Pressing Reversed Labels NM !!

You are bidding on the following ultra rare 1979 U.S. Test Pressing of the Police's second album mispressed with reversed labels:

US LP SP-4792 A&M Records Test Pressing by CBS Records Santa Maria. The LP comes in a plain white outter sleeve that has been hand noted with the catalog number and title.

Matrix Numbers in the run out grooves are:

SIDE A: A&M SP-4792-B-S1

SIDE B: A&M SP-4792-A-S3

This is a near mint condition original 1979 Test Pressing of The Police's second album and I believe is the third copy to surface since it was pressed 34 years ago. I played this record once in order to accurately list it's condition.  It looks great and plays even better than it looks, very quietly! Making this this rare test pressing even rarer, is that this is a mispressed copy with the Side A and B Labels being on the wrong sides of the record.  The plain white sleeve has shelfwear, the LP is in a plain white paper inner sleeve, there is a small tear at the top center of one side and the inner sleeve is yellowed due to the paper's acid content.

This copy came from someone who did a lot of work with A&M back in it the '70's and '80's and is 100% genuine.

International bidders please note that the US Postal Service rates are quite high.  Options range from $25 for a First Class parcel (uninsured and no tracking) on to $48 and $58 options for insured priority parcels with tracking.  I will gladly ship worldwide but it is up to the winning bidder to decide how they want the record posted given the existing rates. 

Domestic shipping and handling is $12.00 for USPS Priority Mail, with tracking, plus insurance which will be required for this item.  The insurance fee will be calulated at the auction closing and will likely be in the range of $5.50 - $6.50.  Given the rarity of this item Media Mail is not offered as an option.

PLEASE NOTE: The Ebay system forces me to include $4.00 as the listed shipping charge for this item since it is a record album which can usually be sent at Media Mail rates.  Obviously this is not a regular LP so the postal charges are as stated in the listing text, not $4.00 for domestic U.S. buyers.
