Description
Woooohooo! This here is the sickest record you do not own.
The Philadelphia Experiment
2LP
2001
Ropeadope
The best recorded music Questlove has ever made? Possibly. His D’angelo, Soul Aquariun work is up there but this record showcases him right up front. Absolutely amazing.
Please see photos for details but I would say this was owned by a DJ originally. There is writing on one of the four labels as shown in photo.
Other than that folks...this vinyl is super clean. Closer to a M- than a VG+. Very, very good condition.
The jacket shows a fair amount of wear along the edges with a slight crease. Some minor wear on the opening as this is a 2LP release in a single non gatefold jacket.
I’ll assume you’re familiar with this album so I don’t have to describe exactly how insanely good this album is. As someone who’s enjoyed this album since it’s release in 2001, the only thing I’ll say that’s worth noting is that I can’t believe how relevant and contemporary this music sounds 20 years later. There’s few releases since this that match its artistry.
