2 record set Made In England

RARE Transatlantic white/purple motif format. SOFT textured confirming THE earliest issue. Only a very light spindle trace. MCPS logos. Excellent condition with no mottling , lifting or any other damage. Lovely appearance.

Vinyl surfaces reflect a glorious sheen. Surfaces hardly display any marks, just one or two superficial hairlines and the lightest blemish. No deep or heavy scratches !!!Superb visual chemistry.A very thick, heavyweight pressing and a joy to hold.

Gatefold sleeve

Double gatefold and what a beauty. Reverse shows squared photos , representing each track and must have taken ages to print this intricate track listing feature. Possibly the only time this was done during the seventies as it was too time consuming. Thick card manufacture and a thick laminate coat on front/reverse faces. Wide spine Uncrushed which is very rare to find and printed by Dawson Rossiter Limited, London. Opens to near perfect inner faces with flipback edges, truly confirming that this is THE genuine article.A very early issue indeed of this fantastic release.Hardly any edgewear to report, save for a 5cms seam split on one top edge.Superb gatefold in excellent condition.

Inner sleeves

Excellent original patented/made in England credits. True originals.

Audio

Live recordings with audience participation. Recorded Royal Festival Hall, London, 29 June 1968 and IBC Studios, London,August 1968. Excellent audio channels with little to fault. Guitar harmonics conveyed in sensational style with beautiful tones only heard from these UK first pressings. Engineered like no other and audio will be difficult to match. These earliest releases have extra wide channels which give a magnificent loud cut delivery. Will not disappoint. An excellent audio without a doubt.

Becoming a rarity now and difficult to track down in this sensational condition.

A beautiful folk classic.
