Hello there;

Please read before bidding-

  I am a serious record collector, and take very good care of my vinyl. Most has been put away and clean for a long time. I know how to grade records, although I seldom sell many. Recent finances have forced me to sell many of them, which are from my personal record collection. So while I may not have a long sales history, I assure you I have sold and bought many records online, and that you will be pleased with your purchase

   My grading is conservative; if it has been opened, even if not played, I will always try to give it a VG+ at best, so don’t fear… it will probably exceed your expectations. I try to disclose anything that I can see, and be as specific as I can. If it is mint, it is sealed. Even then, I will clarify any ring wear or corner damage beyond normal.

  I always under-grade the vinyl I sell to insure everyone is happy. As far as I know, out of my 2000+ records I have none that skip, and I like it that way. The worst I have is dusty, old records I inherited which will be disclosed if sold. I rarely sell those, unless they are very rare.

~ I will mail all records in sturdy cardboard with reinforcement when necessary. Nothing more annoying than damaged goods…I know this! ( NOTE: I ship MEDIA MAIL, which may take a couple days longer than priority, but I do it to save you money. Shipping prices are getting ridiculous, and sometimes media mail gets there just as quick. In the summer, priority is better to keep them from possibly warping, but I have never had a problem. Asdk me before you get impatient, they should be easily tracked by the tracking number provided. Or ask me)

   Feel free to ask any questions, I am happy to answer.

If the records are not perfect, I bought them that way, and I will disclose everything I can see.

Vinyl Rating Guide

Sealed Copy/Mint
Brand new and unused.

Near Mint
Record has very little wear and no scratches.

VG++
Somewhere between VG+ and NM. Not quite Near Mint, but close.

VG+
A VG+ record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK".

VG
Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.

Good
Can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear

Fair
The record is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating.

Cover Rating Guide

Sealed Copy/Mint
Brand new and unused.

NM
An LP cover should have no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable similar defects. No cut-out holes, either.

VG+
An LP cover may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount.

VG
Cover may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.

Good
A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object.

Fair
The LP cover is water damaged, split on all three seams or heavily marred by wear and writing. Cover barely keeps the LP inside it.

So that is grading scales…now come on and bid! :)

Thanks for looking, and happy bidding.
