Original 1979 UK CBS pressing of The Muppet Movie Original Soundtrack Recording.
Features the classic songs from the original Jim Henson film including Rainbow Connection, Movin’ Right Along, Can You Picture That, I’m Going To Go Back There Someday and more.
This example carries desirable A1/B1 matrix numbers and an unusual mastering variant. The runout grooves show the original hand-etched matrix CBS-S-10045-A1/B1 crossed out and replaced by the released catalogue number CBS S 70170 A1/B1. This appears to be a transitional mastering correction made during production and is an interesting feature for collectors of CBS pressings and matrix variants.
Complete with original gatefold sleeve.
