Description

The Mountain Goats "Come, Come to the Sunset Tree" contains songs from "The Sunset Tree" recorded at the home of John Darnielle. The album is number 74 of 1000, and is dated 4/17/05. Track Listing: "You or Your Memory," "Up the Wolves," "Dilaudid," "Collapsing Stars," "Dinu Lipatti's Bones," "Love, Love, Love," "High Doses #2," "Lion's Teeth," "This Year," "Song for Dennis Brown," "The Day the Aliens Came." This album was purchased directly from John Darnielle at a show at Redux Contemporary Art Center in Charleston, SC in April of 2005. I have received a question about the condition of the item, so I would like to add my response as I realized I had left this out of the item description: the vinyl is in mint condition--no visible scratches, perfect play. the cover has a very small tear on the front top and the bottom two corners have slight shelf wear (very slightly bent corners). there is a small ink smear on the back, which was there when i bought the record from john darnielle and what looks like a small paint stain on the front which was also there. as all of the covers were handmade and each one different from the next it seems these marks are from other covers which were placed next to this one or perhaps from the process of making the covers. i will be glad to send more pictures if this would help.
