The Missing Links - Self Titled, on Phillips, MONO, PD199, 1966.

Vinyl Condition: EX

Sleeve Condition: EX

Ain't no doubt about it, this is the best garage rock LP to have ever come out of Australia… and YES this is the ORIGINAL pressing…. You know how rare it is, I have only ever seen 2 other copies and they were both shagged.

OK, here are the important bits, this copy is in amazing condition. Firstly the flipback sleeve is in EX condition, it has no splits or dirty ringwear (even the matt white back of the sleeve is clean), and there is no stretching around the sleeve opening. It does have a little wear to the 2 corners at the sleeve opening, and a few tiny creases along the spine, and a light cover crease most noticeable on the back sleeve (bottom right corner). All around it really is in EX condition.

The vinyl is also in remarkable strong EX condition. The labels are super clean with no noticeable marks around the spindle hole. The wax is bright and shinny, and has no scratches or scuffs. Under bright lights there are some very faint hairline paper sleeve type marks. Sonically it is amazing. There is no discernable background noise!

Prior to hearing this copy I had only listened the Raven reissue, well I was knocked out when I first listened to this copy, the fidelity and dynamics are far superior to the reissue. In short it KICKS!!

Don't sleep on this one, it really is a rarity, especially in this condition.

This is an Original Australian Pressing.
