Description
The Mint - Down the Dustpipe b/w Shelley (7")
(Australia Ramrod RAM-002 / October 1971)
Carl Groszman [aka Carl Keats] / Dalton (original)
The third single by The Mint, a talented pop band comprised of four brothers and one sister from the Dalton family. The A-side is a cover version of the 1970 hit by British rockers, Status Quo. The original flipside "Shelley" is an appealing flowery pop-psych tune with shifting tempos, repeated jangly guitar breaks and breezy harmonies.
