(SOUTH AFRICAN PYE / TEAL, PL 2123, 1967)

Guaranteed ORIGINAL MONO (and possibly the only) South African pressing of one of The Kinks' best, very nearly as good as Village Green. 

This is the only South African copy of this I have ever seen and I doubt I will find another!!

Lovely shape too!!

A LITTLE BLURB ON SOUTH AFRICAN PRESSINGS:

I've always found South African pressings to be very interesting as they are usually on slightly different label designs with slightly different artwork and often unique catalogue numbers. They also came in very fragile sleeves so are hard to find in nice shape. Finding South African pressed albums like this one are not easy as they sold very little at the time!! This has come from my own personal collection... I will be listing more of these unusual pressings in the future...

Vinyl is in VG++ condition : has some very light surface marks, nothing heavy at all, disc is still nice and shiny and the labels are lovely and clean, plays well with some crackle and distortion in places, this has always played like this since I have owned it, it was either played with a duff needle many years back or it may just be the pressing, still a nice loud player!!

flipback sleeve is in VG++ condition : very light disc imprint, some creases but nothing too heavy, spine has centre split but still legible, opening is a little tatty, back looks lovely, small name and number written at top, nice and clean overall with no ringwear!!
