Rare "Kinks" Original 1968 Australian Astor label EP in Excellant condition.
This is The Kinks rarest EP and books in the UK Record Collector Price Guide for 250 pounds for a UK Pye label copy.... and how much rarer do you think an original Aussie pressed Astor copy is....before you think... 'Oh it's an Aussie copy, I don't need that' - understand that the Aussie '60s pressings are very thick vinyl wise and play real good!
The Kinks' EP - Very Rare Australian Only release on the Astor Label 4-track 7" vinyl EP picture sleeve!
Rare Cover in excellant/mint condition. The front cover is excellant with no creases, marks, tears, colour fading or ring wear on the front. There is a white sticker on the top left with a gold star in it and the words "Gold Star Series".
The back cover is perfect like the front except for a very very faint ring wear around where the label is. The label is Black with the Yellow Diamond with the words ASTOR written in there. Also written is "Extended Play - A Pye Records UK Recording" and "Belinda Music Pty Ltd Australia"
I have never seen vinyl this immaculate unless it was brand new and this is amazing as it is nearly 40 Years old! I would say by looking at the cover that it looks like it was printed yesterday.
This picture sleeve EP release is very hard to find.
I am a collector of rare vinyl and the vinyl itself is awesome with some very fine surface scratches.
After I purchased this, I sealed it in an air/dust proof plastic cover. I haven't played this Vinyl.
