Description
Pye Records NSPL 18149 - Curiously the sleeve catalogue number states NPL 18149, - there is evidence of a sticker label just over the 'NPL' which possibly stated that it was an export copy or, possibly, Pye used up the remaindered sleeves from the mono version, the only difference to the sleeve being the addition of an 'S' to the catalogue number (the spine also states NPL 18149). The label states NSPL. 18149 as does the matrix ( *T). - See photographs.
1966. A genuinely excellent copy of this extremely rare album.
As with the other Kinks album previously listed the album album plays beautifully, I have just played both sides, no scratches, clicks or noticeable reduction in sound quality, a real pleasure to listen to. I could go on about how scarce this album is (particularly in this condition) but chances are if you have read this far you are aware of this already.
