Description

Up for auction is a rare very first 1967 US Mono pressing of The Jimi Hendrix Experience/Are You Experienced. Visually, the vinyl is VG to VG+ with hairlines, a little scuffing from the inner sleeve, and some more conspicuous marks on both sides. These cosmetic imperfections do not detract from the overall sound quality which is between VG and VG+. There is surface noise between tracks and also during some of the quieter segments. During the louder segments (which is basically the majority of the album) , the surface noise is considerably less noticeable and the entire album sounds awesome in mono format. The cover is graded VG+ with shelf ware. Overall, this first pressing (condition wise) is considerably cleaner than the average first pressing of this album, the average being G to VG minus at best. Also included is the original Reprise inner sleeve.(PLEASE SEE AND ZOOM IN ON PHOTOS)
